Which type of head should I get?
I am planning to join a drumming circle as a bit of a hobby, and when I mentioned that I wanted to join but needed to get a drum first, one of the members said they had a copper doumbek they were looking to sell, but that it needed a new head. What type of head should I get? I am just a beginner, so I want to get the easiest type to work with that still sounds good. Can anyone give me any recommendations? I need to get one soon before I start my lessons or I won’t be able to play.
